When Glendronach was mothballed in 1996 its future looked uncertain and unclear. It was the success and demand for Ballantine’s, which prompted Allied Domecq to resurrect it back in 2002. Today, Glendronach is in the hands of the Benriach Distillery Company who have invested quite heavily in the brand which has resulted in a new core range of the 12 year old 'Original', 15 year old 'Revival' and 18 year old 'Allardice'. Also look out for some very good single cask bottlings and some cask finish releases.
