Product Description
Tasting Notes:
Nose: The grape is fresh, succulent and sultana-studded; the bourbon element is well…bourbony, with some lovely liquorice and honey phrases somehow finding a perfect balance with the sherry.
Palate: The body is shapely and dying to be caressed with a silky, skimpy grapiness and barley covering the naked liquorice-honey beneath; the spiced oak slaloms around the palate without coming to grief showing a balance and poise which astounds.
Finish: Some toffee notes creep in from somewhere and reduce the shine but the vanilla-barely fade is still rather charming.
